For over five years, The PR Room worked hard to secure HANNSG a place as a market leader and industry expert with HANNSG now being seen as the system builder’s preferred LCD monitor choice.

The Challenge:

The primary objectives were to create brand awareness amongst key audiences, attract channel partners, gain market share and encourage sales volumes.

Our Work:

Our PR campaign for Solar Technology involved the following:

  • Ongoing product reviews program which included providing key media exclusivity on select new products. Products were tailored to each sector. High spec monitors were provided to influential gaming and graphic design media, and best performance/cost ratio models were provided to various IT media for LCD Monitor comparison group tests.
  • Key media contacts were provided with monitor samples for internal lab testing, allowing them to test partnering products such as, PCs, accessories, games and software. This built long-lasting relationships and loyalty with these media contacts, with the bonus of regularly seeing HANNSG products in all relevant features.
  • A campaign to promote the HANNSG brand throughout the AV and IT trade press was developed in order to attract new retail partners and system builders. Opinion pieces, interviews and spokesperson comment were regularly offered to journalists writing features about the LCD Monitor industry.
  • An analyst relations program was developed to connect with key analysts, keeping them informed about HANNSG’s global business, product, sales and marketing strategies.

PR Results Achieved:

As a result of our PR Campaign for HANNSG, we achieved the following:

  • The HANNSG brand was seen to be a personal choice for the leading industry media, thanks to our internal lab testing samples and exclusive review samples, a priceless endorsement for the brand.
  • HANNSG monitors were highly acclaimed by the specialist press and won scores of awards which were then used to promote HANNSG monitors to the retail channel as well as being used to highlight the popularity of the monitors in marketing material.
  • Following on from our technology PR campaign, and the rise in exposure of HANNSG’s products, an increased customer demand was noted and retailers were fast to begin stocking the range.
  • Monitor analyst, Meko, ranked HANNSG as the fourth largest LCD supplier for UK and Eire monitor sales with a 6.9% market share after just a year.
  • A campaign to promote the HANNSG brand throughout the AV and IT trade press successfully secured key partners for HANNSG – retailers and system integrators alike.
  • HANNSG personnel regularly quoted in the media as experts on industry developments, trends, forecasts and analysis of the LCD industry.
